ABVP march for multiple demands

NASHIK: Student members of Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) marched from Bhosla Military College to KTHM College at Gangapur Road to express their demands regarding fee waiver for students who belong to farmers’ family.

The students demanded that due to incessant rains in Maharashtra in the past few months, all the educational fees should be waived for the peasants who are meeting their ends with hand to mouth conditions.

They also demand the sub-centre to begin with all the courses that are run by the university at Pune. The students want the schedule of the elections for ABVP to be announced at the earliest.

The freeship of students of all types of vocational courses and less examination fee for polytechnic students are few of the other demands of the students.

The students are also concerned regarding the vacancies of college professors to be filled up immediately. They also want the students conducting research to be given a fellowship by the Government of Maharashtra.

ABVP students also demanded for the students of the medical varsity based in the city that the proposed Ayurveda, Homeopathy and Physiotherapy courses should be started immediately. Also the government medical college, which is pending in the city, should be started immediately.
